| The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania together with Africa IP SME Helpdesk are pleased to invite you to participate in the seminar: Doing business in North Africa, which will take place on March 30, 2023, between 10.00-14.00, at the CCIR Business Center (Blue Amphitheatre).
The Africa IP SME Helpdesk is an initiative funded by the European Union and implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), which aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises from EU Member States with commercial interests in Africa.
Through this seminar, we aim to provide you with relevant information on export particularities, ways to access the North African markets, as well as potential challenges that companies may face, such as customs regulations or infringement of intellectual property rights.
Equally, tools to protect intellectual property will be presented, which constitute a financial and management asset of SMEs, as they provide a competitive advantage over competitors and protect a company’s innovations. A well-designed strategy for protecting the intellectual property is crucial for a business that intends to internationalise.
The seminar is addressed both to entrepreneurs who want to extend their business in African markets, and to those who are already present in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya or Egypt.
